Rural houses in Region of Murcia These are the 10 blue trails of the Region of Murcia Before knowing these paths in the Region of Murcia, you will ask yourself: What is a blue trail? This is a distinction that was originally awarded by the Environmental and Consumer Education Association (Adeac) to all those hiking routes that ran near the sea and that Colombia Mobile Number List had a blue flag. Currently, the categorization has been expanded to trails that, although they are inland and somewhat further from the sea, are natural and in a perfect state of conservation. The 10 blue trails that are spread throughout the geography of the Region of Murcia allow us to explore it from other more unknown, beautiful and uncrowded corners, on itineraries full of life and health. The pleasant temperatures throughout the year make it a destination to enjoy almost any time of year. This is each of the routes: Route of the Norias (Abarán) Route of the Ferris Wheels, Blue Trails A simple round trip route, suitable for the whole family . It is 4.5 kilometers and has a slight accumulated slope of just 60 meters.

We'll do it in about two hours. It is a local trail that is part of an environment that is classified as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC): visit four historic hydraulic wheels that continue to raise water and irrigate the surrounding orchards, a tribute to such a precious asset on the margins of the Segura River. Path of the Cooks ( Aguilas ) It is about 8 kilometers that can be easily covered in about two and a half hours. On this path we will be surprised by the numerous esparto cocederos – a type of sea rafts – that outlined the coast and many of which have already disappeared due to their lack of use and the urbanization of the spaces they occupied. The trail also passes three restored Civil War bunkers . Cartagena City Trail A 5 kilometer route that runs practically on flat ground to see all the points of interest in this historic city. It begins at the Port of Cartagena and continues along the Paseo de Alfonso Path from Church to Church, La Azohía – Isla Plana ( Cartagena ) A very easy cultural path of about 7.5 kilometers with hardly any unevenness (counting round trip) and very easy to follow, since it is part of the GR-92 trail and just follow its markings.
